Sigma Gamma Rho's Affiliate Club:
The Rhoers
Rhoer Clubs were originally founded in 1939 at the 14th International Boule of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority in New York City. The Rhoers consist of middle school and high school aged young ladies that are organized on a local, regional and national level. They participate in many of the sorority's community service activities as well as their own service opppurtunities. In addition, Rhoers help other young people while they learn about their heritage and develop leadership skills. Today there are over 500 Rhoer clubs worldwide, and the membership is growing each year. Sigma Gamma Rho is dedicated to helping Rhoers to grow to be women of substance dedicated to service.
Rhoer Facts
About Us
- The applicant must have at least one recommendation from a teacher, chuch member, school counselor, or a member of Sigma Gamma Rho.
- The applicant must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- The applicant must exhibit high standards of character and conduct.
- The applicant you must be willing to participate in Rhoer sponsored activities and events.
- The applicant must try their best to be active with the Rhoer Club.
